We are in transition. The original plan of the kids and I joining my husband on the road didn't work out because he delayed the start of his new job to help his father. My father-in-law needed someone to help him drive up to West Virginia [we live in North Carolina].
My sweet, caring husband put off starting his job to help him out. That ended up being not the best idea. Sometimes being helpful comes back to bite ya.
We have found a camper that is 28' long and has twin size bunks. Not sure if we will get it, but we are looking around. No rush really. We will be doing our homeschool week [regular schedule] next week and then the kids will be spending one week in Nashville, TN with my mother.
After that we will be on the road for maybe 2-3 weeks with my husband. We love love love going on the road with him and we miss him so much when he's away.
After that we will have our camper, fix it up and be settled down in Surf City. My sister is also getting a camper and moving down to Surf City. My kids & I are pretty darn excited about that!

Here are some Life snapshots from the past week. The first few pics are of the kids and about half of their friends in our old neighborhood, the week we moved out.
We most of our adult friends in, too. My husband is making the silly face and on the far left, my friend Aubrey is making a face about Daren goofing off. I love her. She's awesome. The lady on the far right, Elizabeth, taught our kids to swim three summers ago.
Lots of traveling around has worn the kids out. We had to drive to Charlotte twice [four and half hour trip] for my husband's new job.
